Osteitis condensans

This is the typical pattern of osteitis condensans. In the ventral slices, there is shallow bone marrow edema found in the STIR sequence (slices 6-9 right and 6-8 left). Sclerosis, which is also typical for the disease, is found here only to a very small extent. Erosions are not present.

Unfortunately, osteitis condensans is often described in radiological reports as sacroiliitis and attributed to axial spondyloarthritis.
